International conference WIAC – Workplace and Indoor Aerosols – combines public health and environmental sciences. What types of particles and aerosols are there in the air, how many are there, how do they get indoors, what can they cause to humans, and how can they be prevented or reduced? How do airborne viruses spread in the air, and what are the mechanisms behind diseases caused by air pollution? These are some of the questions that the presentations at the conference aim to answer.

WIAC conference is organized every two years and gather typically about 120-150 participants all over the world. Conference will arrange keynote presentations, invited presentations and session discussions in June 14th to 16th 2027 at Aalto University Espoo, Finland.

WIAC 2027 sponsors and exhibitors have a good opportunity to be seen, communicate, influence and meet international researchers, industry representatives and decision-makers, among others. The conference provides an opportunity to highlight one’s own innovations and present oneself as one of the solution providers for safe indoor spaces of the future. The participants’ interests include aerosol measurements, new technologies, air quality solutions and the health effects of indoor environments. At best, the discussions can influence e.g. future air quality standards and themes to be highlighted.
